by Chuck Baldwin February 8, 2005 After my initial list of twenty-five (actually, the number was twenty-eight) faithful conservatives was published last week, I have been inundated with people suggesting their own lists. This is wonderful! It is wonderful to know that there remains 7,000 principled patriots who have not bowed the knee to Baal. Obviously, the intrinsic danger of list-making is that well- deserving people are left out. Certainly, that was true with my initial list. Sadder still is the fact that I am probably the last person who should be compiling such a list as there are others eminently more qualified than I to do this. My limited knowledge and experience most definitely gives way to the knowledge and experience of others more distinguished. However, since this is my opinion, I do wish to add a subsequent list to the initial one last week. Last week, I was trying to approximate Time Magazine's twenty-five number. Obviously, there was no order of significance with my list. Names were listed alphabetically. As I now provide additional names of people I regard as faithful conservatives, please understand that I am not listing people with whom I necessarily agree regarding every single subject. Neither am I listing people based upon their personal religious persuasions. My list simply includes people whom I believe have demonstrated long-standing fidelity to America's founding principles. So, here is the continuation of my faithful conservatives list:

Wouldn't it be nice if people such as these had real influence upon an American president? Better yet, wouldn't it be nice if we had a president who was himself such a man? © Chuck Baldwin This column is archived as http://www.chuckbaldwinlive.com/c2005/cbarchive_20050208.html |
